In cases when there is no sufficient donor hair in the back of the scalp «safe zone» body to scalp hair transplant can be considered. FUE technique and Neograft device allows for body hair harvest eg from beard, chest, back or extremities without creating ugly linear scars. Although quite tedious this method is popular with men with advanced hair loss.

Case description:
45 yo patient who already underwent several strip procedures in the past and ran out of «safe zone» donor hair in the back of the scalp. Even if some follicular units could potentially be harvested form the back of the scalp this would lead to uncover of the very widened donor strip scars. in this case chest hair was transplanted using Neograft FUE method – 2000 FU (about 2500 hair) was used to increase density of the scalp coverage.
